SSS - Look at Yourself First (Likes Attract)

Time to @ yourself before you @ others. Welcome back to another edition of Sight Setting Sunday. This week, I was just sitting alone with my thoughts when something dawned on me. It's something that I've heard before, but this was the first time I really had a chance to intellectualise it. It has to do with the scientific principle of "likes attract". However I believe this can be applied to more than just science. This applies to our goals, values, relationships and what we see in others. For example, if you expect people to be loyal to you, you must be loyal yourself. If you struggle to find love, reason could be because you have not made yourself a person worthy of receiving love. Do you want to be respected? Well, you can't expect this if you don't respect others. To me, this is the power of the universe, or more simply, the power of the law of attraction. Likes attract, simple as that. So if you want something from another person, ensure you treat them (and others) in the same fashion that you are expecting to receive.
