Stacy's story~ Return Stronger: Life After Cancer

from The girl out there · host Cindy Ryan

After years of monitoring her health due to a Lynch syndrome diagnosis (a genetic mutation predisposing her to colon and endometrial cancers), Stacy Graham thought she was prepared for anything—until life handed her a completely unrelated challenge: stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer. In this episode, Stacy shares her experience navigating the highs, the lows, and the uncertain in-betweens—accepting the hard days, making the most of the good ones, and doing her best with whatever each day brought. Her treatment journey included six months of chemotherapy, three surgeries (with one more pending), 25 rounds of radiation, and another six months of clinical trial chemotherapy to help reduce the risk of recurrence.More than a story of survival, Stacy’s cancer journey became a powerful catalyst for transformation. It led her to revisit her deepest values, realign her goals, and ultimately step away from a successful corporate career in senior leadership to pursue a life more aligned with her purpose.Today, just seven months out from her final chemotherapy session and three months post-surgery, Stacy is in the practicum phase of becoming an ICF-certified Life Coach. Known as the “What’s Next?!” Coach and founder of Return Stronger, she helps others figure out what's next for them—whether that means breaking unhealthy habits, rebuilding a new life, or reconnecting with their purpose and moving confidently toward it.Stacy believes we are never guaranteed tomorrow—so love fiercely, live fully, and chase your dreams today.Learn more about Stacy’s story and her work at returnstronger.ca.
