The girl out there
by Cindy Ryan
I am proud to call myself a mystic as well as a single mom living a very real life. I have my master level in reiki and use such modalities as emotion code in my practice. I have discovered the more I share about my wild adventure in BECOMING, the more comfortable others are in learning or sharing theirs. I believe there is a healthy balance of Science and Magic which can be interwoven into all of our lives. Listening to the stories here, my hope is we will all see just how unique, amazing, connected and at times messy all of us humans are.

Finding the Beauty Way | when everything breaks, everything opens
Luke holds belief that you are God - not “a” God in the inflated, egocentric sense although that's certainly true of some more than others - but as One, inseparable from that which created and connects everyone and everything. Luke is a modern seeker whose life was transformed by a spontaneous Kundalini rising that dissolved the boundaries of who he thought he was. His one secure long-term love vanished in an instant, and he was suddenly thrust into a direct encounter with consciousness itself. The experience revealed the answers to all his existential quandaries. What happens when we die? Why are we here? What is the meaning of life? Does God exist? His insights felt too profound not to share them so he wrote a memoir called finding the Beauty way. With clarity, humility, sprinkles of humor, and reverence for the unseen, Luke bridges the mystical with the everyday, inviting readers to rediscover the wisdom already within them.finding the Beauty way - a memoir of healing, surrender, and remembering who we truly are - is Luke’s debut authorship. His pages call you to slow down and tune into the whisper inside you that knows you were never broken, never separate—you simply are … God within. No big deal!

Cake, Courses & Completely Random Thoughts
Happy Friday, friends! Pull up a chair, grab your drink of choice, and let's close out this week together.Today's episode is a little bit of everything — which honestly feels just right for a Friday.First up, I'm taking a moment to celebrate my son's birthday. There's something about watching your kid hit another milestone that makes you stop, look around, and just feel grateful. I'm sharing a few reflections on that today — the kind of thoughts that sneak up on you in the best way. From there, we drift (as we always do) into the random thoughts corner of my brain — the observations, questions, and musings that have been living rent-free in my head this week. No agenda, no filter, just the stuff that's been on my mind. And then — the thing I've been quietly excited about — I'm pulling back the curtain a little on my new course, which is set to launch this fall. It's still evolving, still taking shape, but I wanted to bring you along for the ride early. We'll talk about where the idea came from, where it's headed, and what I'm hoping it does for the people who take it.It's a full heart kind of Friday. Let's get into it.

Gold Bells and Red Stickers- one year post chemo
Gold Bells & Red StickersOne year ago I finished chemo. Nobody hands you a guidebook for what comes after — the strange, beautiful, disorienting life on the other side. In this episode, I share what the pamphlet never told me: how you can hold gratitude and grief in the same two hands. How the world feels both extraordinary and completely foreign. And how I spent months dreaming of ringing a gold bell, only to be handed a little red sticker like I'd just graduated to the potty. This one is for everyone who finished the hard thing and then quietly wondered: now what?#Thrivercancer #recoverygrief #gratitudelife #aftercancer

Embracing the Change: perimenopause and life mid way
This episode is a conversation about noticing what’s changing, what’s getting louder, and what we can’t ignore anymore.Dear Diary shares what it’s like living with chronic headaches, and how that shapes her days in ways most people don’t see.I talk about stepping into a new career, not as a reinvention story, but as part of paying closer attention to what feels right now and what doesn’t.We also get into the growing awareness around things like perimenopause, and how much of this stage of life is about finally having language for experiences we didn’t fully understand before. It’s less about “figuring things out” and more about recognizing what’s happening in real time and responding to it honestly.

My Story So Far... reflection of a new way healing.
This week, I welcome my cousin Mandy Ryan to talk about the deep work behind The Room. What began as my own healing process; writing my life story and stepping onto the stage to share it became something much bigger than either of us expected. We unpack what actually happens when you move through your story in this way… not just reflecting on it, but embodying it.From that experience, we’ve created The Room: a 6-month container where you honour your own healing process, shape one meaningful piece of your story, and ultimately bring it to life on stage. This isn’t about performance. It’s about presence. And what becomes possible when you allow yourself to be seen.

Notes from Right Now
This episode is a simple check-in from right where I am.We talk about hair growth, speed dating, pickleball, preparing for my upcoming performance—and whatever else happens to surface along the way. Nothing is planned and nothing needs to make sense. It’s just a conversation rooted in the moment, noticing what’s here without turning it into a lesson. This episode isn’t about insight or outcomes. It’s about presence. About enjoying the small, ordinary details of life as they’re unfolding and letting that be enough.A casual pause. A little laughter. A reminder that being here counts.Mind the gap… don’t mind.Have a blissful day.

From Survival Mode to Unbound
In this episode, I sit down with Chantel Funk @chantel.funk salon owner, master hairstylist, and mom—to talk about navigating seasons of life that don’t come with a roadmap.Chantel shares her experience moving through personal loss, supporting her child through a bone marrow transplant, and running a business while feeling stretched thin. We talk honestly about burnout, learning to slow down, and what it takes to stay grounded when life keeps asking more of you.Out of these experiences, Chantel created Unbound—a body of work and programs designed to help women step out of survival mode, reconnect with themselves, and build confidence from the inside out. In this conversation, she shares what Unbound really means to her, why it isn’t about fixing yourself, and how small shifts in self-trust can change everything. This episode is for anyone who’s been holding it together for a long time and is ready for something more steady, more honest, and more sustainable

This side of life: a real conversation about intuition, energy and being human.
Today’s conversation is one I want to have more of.It’s the kind of chat that moves effortlessly between the seen and the unseen: between career, creativity, motherhood, intuition, energy, and the moments in life that quietly change everything. My guest today is Stefanie McAuley a writer, marketing strategist, and the founder of Broad World. On paper, she’s worked with some of the biggest brands on the planet—Nike, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Benefit Cosmetics, and more. She’s lived on three continents, traveled to over fifty countries, worked in action sports, global media, tech, and publishing… and helped thousands of brands find their voice in an ever-changing world. But that’s not why I invited her here.I invited Stefanie because beneath the strategy and success is a woman deeply connected to intuition, energy, and life’s quieter truths. We talk about her near-death experience as a child, the windows of intuition that open when we’re willing to listen, and how her life has shifted from being purely career-driven to embracing motherhood, presence, and a more soulful way of being. This isn’t a formal interview. It’s a real conversation about energy woven into everyday life, about trusting what you feel even when it doesn’t fit neatly into a job title, and about what happens when we let ourselves evolve. So settle in. This is a conversation about life.

Embracing my race; the first leg of my journey with breast cancer
It has been some time since I last spoke into this space, and I’ve gone back and forth on whether to return. And now, well, now it feels like the time has arrived—not just for me, but for anyone who might want to lean in, listen, and perhaps find something here for themselves as well.I’m starting a new journey now, one I never expected to take: a journey with breast cancer. Here, I can pour my words and my heart, in all their rawness, their messiness, their uncertainty. And so I return. For myself, and for anyone else who needs to hear something, anything, that might make this journey a little less daunting.

Spiritual Slip Ups: My journey to becoming a mystic
Picture this: a regular girl with a knack for tripping over her own feet, somehow stumbling into the mystical world. Spoiler alert—I didn’t see it coming. But between awkward moments, unexpected epiphanies, and a lot of laughs, I found myself on a wild journey to the divine. Who knew enlightenment could be so wonderfully weird? I have been sitting with very unedited memoir filled with terrible grammar and many pages that don't make sense for over a decade. I figure I can keep staring at those pages for another decade or two and do nothing or I can just trust this feeling in me that is saying “share the words in any way you can and the rest will sort itself out”…. So let it all begin!

Today, we're diving into the fascinating world of chakras, focusing on the heart chakra, also known as Anahata. This energy centre, nestled at the center of our chest, is often referred to as the bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. The heart chakra's name, Anahata, translates to "unhurt" or "unstruck," reflecting its association with unconditional love, compassion, and emotional resilience. Imagine it as the powerful force that governs our ability to give and receive love, not just to others but to ourselves as well. Radiating a vibrant green colour, the heart chakra is linked to the element of air, symbolizing openness and freedom. Its symbol is a twelve-petaled lotus flower with a star-shaped geometric design, representing balance and harmony. When aligned, the heart chakra fills us with a sense of peace, empathy, and joy. It encourages us to form deep, meaningful connections and embrace the world with an open heart. However, when not aligned, it can lead to feelings of loneliness, jealousy, or emotional pain. Science and Energy Healing, a place for both with Becky Carlsen.
Meet Becky Carlsen! The newest team member of Bliss Space. Here is the bio from our website and some info about Becky. I am so humbled and honoured to share space to share space with such dynamic and wise women. Becky shares today some of her story. Fun fact: I was born in the Yukon! We moved to BC when I was very young and I have been in the lower mainland ever since. In High School I naturally gravitated to courses like math and science with success, so without much thought this became my focus in University. In my first year of University my mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Then less than 5 years later, while I was working on my Masters my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My background and my degrees in science and experiences with cancer led me to getting a job in Cancer Research.Through personal experience and work experiences with cancer is where I felt there was a need for more complementary therapies for people and their families going through these experiences. I began taking courses in the chemistry of essential oils and their benefits, end of life doula training and deep into the work of reiki. ABOUT THIS SHOW
I am proud to call myself a mystic as well as a single mom living a very real life.
