Tim and Mary take on the news cycle with a bit of a twist: living large in the last days, Babylon style. We talk about the change of seasons and how that brings a reality to the times. The nature of worship today is certainly one of the changes we have waded through, but not just to add to the conversation about it, rather perhaps put a finger on the problem: subjectivity. In the pursuit of making sure the Holy Spirit shows up to our gatherings, we have all but stopped worshiping in Spirit AND in truth: with our minds and our hearts. We talk about the hymn culture that produced doctrine and how that leads us in worship. Then we look at being ambassadors for Christ, doing the King’s bidding in our service, not our own or even for our own earthly home.
