After being tasered and mocked he is boarded on a bus to be deported from the United States. Meanwhile, Seven of Nine and Raffi, who after dealing with 21st Century bureaucracy and a stick shift of an ancient fossil fuel based police car stolen from a downtown precinct, are in hot pursuit to liberate Rios from deportation. Back at the Confederation ship, Jurati and Picard figure out the clues held subconsciously in Jurati’s mind after her connection to the Borg Queen. Realising there are only 3 days left to save the future of the Federation and with time running out, Picard seeks out an old friend, a younger Guinan, for help to find and contact the Watcher. While Guinan doesn’t yet know Jean Luc Picard, he manages to build trust with her and is able to get a meeting with the Watcher, who unexpectedly turns out to be another old friend, the Romulan Laris! Meanwhile back aboard the ship Jurati the mind games begin with the Borg Queen, as she tries to fix the Ship’s systems. But when Seven of Nine and Rafi find themselves in imminent danger of arrest by the LAPD after stealing a police car, Jurati, desperate to get the transporters up and running to save them must make a deal with the Borg Queen.
