The conversion rate is more important than the absolute number. See how many referrals are made and their engagement rate. You need to have a product that's good enough so that people will like it and tell others about it. Focus on upgrading the product to generate more engagement. Metrics that don't matter include social media likes, newsletter signups, and repeat visits.
