What do you do when following Jesus gets hard? In Stay Strong: Endure, you’ll be challenged to look at what happens when resistance, hardship, persecution, and spiritual opposition come against your faith. Jesus never promised that following Him would mean avoiding difficulty. He called His followers to remain faithful, stand firm, and endure. Mark 4 warns about seed that falls on stony ground. The Word is received with joy, but when trouble comes, there is no deep root to sustain it. That same warning still matters today. It is possible to hear the Word, agree with it, and even be encouraged by it without allowing it to take root deeply enough to shape how you respond when life becomes difficult. This message will challenge you to examine the condition of your heart and ask whether your faith is prepared to endure. You’ll see why resistance does not always mean you are doing something wrong. Following Jesus puts you in opposition to the ways of the enemy, and spiritual battles are part of the life of a disciple. Scripture calls believers to endure hardship as good soldiers of Jesus Christ, resist the devil, and refuse to abandon their confession of faith. You’ll also be challenged to count the cost of following Jesus. Salvation is a free gift, but discipleship calls you to carry your cross, surrender your life, and keep following when obedience costs you something. If you are facing pressure, disappointment, betrayal, fear, hardship, or a season where you feel like giving up, this message is an encouragement to keep going.
