Staying Connected. Living More Fully.

from Empowered Conversations Podcast · host Suzi Petrozzi

Jacqueline Marks is a passionate teacher and writer. She is fascinated by what fuels our sense of connection and works to empower our future generations to connect with themselves and the environment around them so they can make a positive impact in the world. She holds a Bachelor in Education from Charles Sturt University, is a certified yoga instructor and has trained in mindfulness, mindset, somatic awareness, leadership and dance. In our Empowered Conversation we unpack connection: what is it, why do we lose it  and how can we cultivate it. Jaqueline reframes disconnection as a gift because it has much to teach us. We need both equally: disconnection and connection. She shares great tools to help us practice connection and takes us on a guided meditation practice to help us come back and connect.   RESOURCES: Daylio - Daylio five emotions you can edit to best reflect your most common emotions in a day and then edit the ”What have you been up to” icons to best find what connects and disconnects you from you, your values, the life you want to lead. Jacqueline recommends reflecting every night on your emotions that day then once a week to notice trends and set an aligned intention for the week ahead.
