Stephen Schettini, former Buddhist monk, a meditation and mindfulness teacher & author shares mindfulness tips
from Run With It by Christine Blanchette · host Run With It by Christine Blanchette
In this podcast, I interviewed Stephen Schettini, a former Buddhist monk, a meditation & mindfulness teacher, an author and a ghostwriter. Stephen talked about why he joined the Buddhist monastery, his writing, his books, and his teaching. Background information: His parents—who literally ran away to join the circus—inspired him to live life on his own terms and never settle for less. After eight years studying with the Dalai Lama and his tutors, he developed his own method, Mindful Reflection™. His classes are usually open to the public, but he teaches private groups too—notably cancer patients, care-givers and others facing health-related anxiety. Following the Covid-19 shutdown, Stephen established MindfulnessLive.ca to give LIVE Zoom classes three times a week. His mission is to provide a live, accessible teacher and ongoing support to build a rich and meaningful life. He lives near Montreal with his business partner/wife Life Coach Caroline Courey.
