Stepping Forward in Faith

In today’s homily, Fr. Antony Charles reflects on the significance of the Transfiguration of Jesus, emphasizing its meaning for Him, the disciples, and all believers. It highlights the journey from the desert of temptation to the mountain of divine encounter, contrasting spiritual struggle with the revelation of God’s glory.For the disciples, the Transfiguration strengthened their faith and revealed Jesus’ divine nature. For Jesus, it was a moment of reassurance from His Father. For believers, it offers the promise of resurrection and transformation in Christ.Like Abraham, we are called to trust God’s plan and step forward in faith. While we may long for moments of divine closeness, we must return to daily life and share our faith.
