His 10-year football career spanning 11 different teams was characterized by determination and resiliency, which fueled his personal growth into someone “Greater Than the Game—the title of his first book. He has since led the CETA Foundation for over 20 years with the goal of empowering disenfranchised communities and encouraging personal autonomy. In this episode, Stevie discusses his desire to leverage his experiences in the sports and entertainment industries to make a difference in the life of others. The “Giving Legends” podcast is hosted by 9-year NFL vet Hannibal Navies and 15-year NFL vet & Super Bowl champion Charlie Batch. Both Hannibal and Charlie have been recognized off the field for creating community impact via their own foundations – 360 Sports Academy (est. 2007) and Best of the Batch Foundation respectively (est. 1999).
