Why stewardship is difficult in today’s times A culture of materialism - society promotes ownership rather than stewardship We have a lack of eternal perspective - focus on temporary We have a self-centered lifestyle and desire comfort and personal gain and this clashes with Gods will for our life Fear of lack - fear of not having enough causes us to hold back Poor spiritual discipline - no prayer or connection We recognize that the distractions and values of today’s culture do not define us as Christians. We are called to live differently. Stewardship is a choice—one that requires intentional surrender, trust in God, and a commitment to His ways over our own.
