Today's Speaker: Barry Maurer Today's Message: STEWARDSHIP: Week 2 - Stewardship of Time Christians are not owners, we are stewards. Our time is not our own. The time that the Lord gives us while we live on this earth, is a gift. The scriptures are abundantly clear, we are called to be wise in the way that we live. The Apostle Paul says to the Christians in Ephesus, Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. This is a subject of which little is spoken. No wonder Jesus teaches us to pray—everyday—“Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” James teaches us to use our time according to God’s will, not our own, “Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”
