Raised in a small southern Missouri town with strong Midwestern values, Dr. Lockwood earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Missouri and later moved to Los Angeles to complete his Doctorate of Psychology at TCSPP. With over a decade of experience in non-profits, treatment centers, and startups, Dr. Lockwood has worked at every level of the addiction treatment industry. He co-authored an early grant-funded intervention to support campus parents and now teaches as an adjunct professor at California Lutheran University.
