Stop saying, "I will be happy when" because if that is how you think, you will never be happy. And besides... Why do you want to be happy anyway? I don't want to be happy... I want to be fulfilled and have purpose. I want to wake up everyday and embrace all the challenges and stress so that I can live the most inspired life possible. Most people are so unaware about what they actually want in life (because they have a fantasy about being happy) that they spend their hours, days, weeks, years and even DECADES on low priority distractions.  Low priority distractions lead to feelings of guilt, resentment, shame, depression, anxiety, sadness and all the rest.  Low priority distractions result in lowering your self worth by doing things for other people first and not for yourself.  Low priority distractions lead to binge eating because you're trying to suppress your emotions with food (which leads to insecurities and low self love) Low priority distractions make you feel lost, overwhelmed and in a rush. When you align your focus to your highest priorities and take action towards them, you create meaningful and measurable progress towards a purposeful and inspired life. When you have focus on high priority actions you focus on what is purposeful and important to you, and everything else blurs out. In the podcast I talk about using a flashlight down a dark path- You can see clearly where you're going and everything else is in the dark. Focus on YOUR PATH and shine the light in that direction. Stop flashing your light every where like a headless chicken and doing things for everyone else. When you try to be everything to everyone, you won't be anything to anyone. Prioritise yourself and your life because no one else will for you. Say NO to all the bullshit distractions because the simple fact is the the world DOES revolve around you. When you live a meaningful, inspiring and purposeful life, you inspire others to do the same. The greatest gift you can give to the world is yourself. Be extraordinary. - Mitch Ping
