Day 72 — “A Prophet Like Moses”📖 Deuteronomy 18As Moses prepared Israel for life in the Promised Land, he gave them an incredible promise:“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you… to him you shall listen.”(Deuteronomy 18:15)Israel would not be left without God’s voice. One day, God would send a greater prophet—one who would speak with divine authority and reveal God’s truth perfectly.Throughout history, many prophets spoke God’s word.But this promise ultimately points to Jesus Christ.Jesus is the greater prophet Moses foretold:• Moses delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt.• Jesus delivers us from slavery to sin.• Moses gave the Law.• Jesus fulfills the Law and reveals God’s grace.In Acts 3:22, Peter clearly identifies Jesus as the fulfillment of this promise.God did not leave humanity searching for truth.He sent His Son.And the call remains the same today as it was in Moses’ day:Listen to Him.#StoryOfScripture #Deuteronomy18 #JesusIsLord #BibleReadingPlan #FaithJourneySupport the show
