Strathcona Beer Company - Vancouver, BC

I’m in the neighbourhood of Strathcona in Vancouver, BC, an area undergoing significant growth and redevelopment following a period of urban decay. The service industry is responding to this upswing, one of them being the Strathcona Beer Company. I spoke with Owner & Brewmaster Michael "Fezz" Nazarec and his son & brewer Nick Nazarec. Their location is both a brewery and tasting room with a kitchen serving some gourmet pizzas. The 25 hectoliter brewhouse is accompanied by five fermenters and five brite tanks. Strathcona Beer Company opened their doors in July 2016.
