Host Cathleen Trigg-Jones is joined by the powerhouse creative team behind the SeriesFest official selection 48 BLOCKS. This week’s episode takes a deep dive into the journey and challenges female filmmakers often face in the entertainment industry. Creator and producer, Sherry McCracken is accompanied by actor and producer, Dina Engel to reveal the inspiration behind their pilot 48 BLOCKS, an Atlantic City based production. The pilot was written and directed by Stuart Connelly and iWomanTV Founder Cathleen Trigg-Jones has joined the project as Executive Producer. The pair is also joined by Francesca Francois-Grimaldi, the CEO & Head of Motion Pictures, Television & Talent Development, Crystal Ship Artists who shares her experience as a woman in the entertainment industry. These four powerhouse women go into detail about their shared experiences and their hopes for the future project. 48 BLOCKS revolves around Atlantic City; the dynamic relationships between the characters they’ve created, an ex-NBA player, new found real estate mogul, his wife and teenage son, business rivals and a local reporter.
