Al igual que nos sucedió en la temporada pasada, ha habido en este 2020 muchos discos producidos en el 2019 que no hemos podido escuchar y comentar en Subterranea hasta este año, la mayoría de ellos publicados en el último tramo del año, títulos que por tanto no entraron entre los candidatos a nuestro TOP2019 que, como de costumbre, fue grabado en diciembre y emitido a principios de enero. Por esta razón, nuestro especialista en tops Fernando Pastor, alias "Pastop el filotopólogo", propuso en su momento la confección de un "Anextop", en el que pudieran entrar toda esa numerosa cantidad de producciones, muchas de ellas con una calidad tan alta que a buen seguro habrían entrado en la lista de lo mejor del año. Este año, además, hemos incorporado el voto de la audiencia, gracias a la iniciativa coordinada por nuestro oyente y amigo Ramón Soler, lo que convierte este invento del anextop en una muy interesante referencia a la hora de no dejar de lado álbumes de grandísima calidad. La puntuación dada por David Pintos, Ricardo Hernández, Juan Francisco Díaz, Ignacio Carlos Romeo, Fernando Pastor, Carles Pinós y Guillermo Mariño se une al ya mencionado voto de la audiencia para conformar un listado en el que saldrán votados hasta 25 discos de una lista de candidatos de más de 30.
