Queremos acabar esta novena temporada a lo grande, así que hemos dejado para el final el tercero de nuestros especiales dobles dedicados a músicos y bandas que marcaron tanto época como estilo, dentro de los diferentes y variadísimos caminos recorridos por el rock progresivo. The Alan Parsons Project (TAPP) ha significado una especial forma de hacer música, oscilando entre el rock sinfónico, la música electrónica y el pop, que ha dejado marcados a fuego no pocos recuerdos inolvidables a cuatro generaciones de melómanos. El proyecto iniciado en 1975 por Alan Parsons, Eric Woolfson y Andrew Powell, marcado por una excelente producción y el dominio de las mejores técnicas de sonido, nos ha dejado algunas obras que con el tiempo han pasado a ser consideradas con letras de oro en la música del último cuarto del siglo XX. En esta primera parte viajaremos desde los inicios del proyecto en 1975 hasta 1984, repasando tanto los discos de TAPP como los proyectos paralelos surgidos de la unión de esos tres músicos, tales como Keats, o la banda sonora que en 1985 realizó Andrew Powell por encargo de Richard Donner para la película Lady Halcón. En Subterranea hemos contado con un equipo de lujo para la oacasión, a los habituales David Pintos, Ricardo Hernández, Juan Francisco Díaz, Antonio Manzanares y Carles Pinós se une Enrique Silvestre, todo un especialista en la historia de la banda, así como el retorno de uno de los mejores colaboradores habituales de Subterranea, Álvaro Morales-Arce.
