Success Made to Last celebrates International Women's Day with three Army heroes

from Success Made to Last Legends · host Success Made to Last

International Women’s Day celebrates the incredible accomplishments of women around the world. For young women today, role models come from new and sometimes unexpected places like the U.S. Army where women are paving the way for the next generation of change-makers and driving equality across a wide range of careers, including healthcare, cyber, aviation, engineering, infantry, as world-class athletes, and more. More than 181,000 women currently serve in the Army, and they are able to serve in any role they qualify for. Today, we host three great heroes.  Maj. Allison Brager is one of just a few neuroscientists in the U.S. Army. She specializes in studying survival in extreme high-stress and sleep-deprived environments to test resiliency and discover ways to improve fatigue management on the frontlines. This past year, Brager was part of the COVID-19 response efforts serving as co-lead for the clinical testing lab ·       Master Sgt. Stacey Munoz serves as an integral part of the Master Resilience Training program for the U.S. Army Reserve Command, responsible for implementing the new Army Combat Fitness Test across more than 650 locations around the world. She is an Army Master Fitness Trainer with a focus on nutrition, personal training, and mindset practices,  ·       1st Lt. Haley Johnson is an Army nurse, assigned to the mother/baby unit of Fort Benning’s Martin Army Community Hospital. As a standout high school athlete - ranging from pole-vaulting, volleyball, track, and cheerleading – she went on to become a competitive bodybuilder   Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/success-made-to-last-legends--4302039/support.
