Success to Significance with Dr. Patrick Moore founding member of Greenpeace riffing on the environment
from Success Made to Last Legends · host Success Made to Last
Dr. Moore has a PhD from the U of British Columbia in Ecology. In 1971 he joined Greenpeace as founding member and served as director and international director until 1986. He participated in the development of environmental policy, the constitution of Greenpeace International, and strategies for raising mass awareness of environmental issues. In 1986 he left Greenpeace, as we will discuss in the podcast, and has been doing consulting, writing books, and staying busy in what he calls in an earlier book “sensible environmentalism”. He is the author of a new book, which we will concentrate on today, called: Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom. It is a very important book, in my view, and well written and intellectually entertaining.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/success-made-to-last-legends--4302039/support.
