Phillip Robinson is a leader, visionary, and proud graduate of Texas A&M, Class of 1978. Enjoy this show that gets into the weeds on running a hospital and then takes a left turn recalling our days at Aggieland in the Davis-Gary dormitory (the hotel by the railroad tracks). Phillip led Lankenau Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Main Line Health, since July, 2010 serving as President. He is also the Executive Sponsor for the health system's cardiovascular and cancer service line, as well as clinical research and medical education.  Today, he serves again as a valued professor at Texas A&M teaching in the Master's Program for Health Administration.  Check out Phillip's road from success to significance. He has 40 years of health care experience and a career highlighted by successive executive leadership roles in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.Since his arrival at Lankenau Medical Center, the hospital has undergone many major facility transformations including the opening of the nearly $500 million Heart Pavilion - a five-story 281,000-square-foot structure comprised of 96 private inpatient rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology and a state-of-the-art cardiothoracic intensive care unit.
