"Success without FAILURE" is a MYTH!

Success without Failure is a MythI volunteered at a children’s home for many years and some of the now adult kids still contact me.  One in particular is near 30 and has been unable to find gainful employment due to learning disabilities.  He is a good man and it hurts me to see him try and fail.Today, we were talking about his latest effort which failed and I commented that I fail at things too; however, I keep going until I find a solution.  His reply was he would give up because he was destined to fail and that I made it in life because I am “successful”.Success is fleeting and is a sum product of all the achievements and failures that have come before.   What I have found is that for each success, many failures may have contributed to that ONE positive event, but that alone does not define one as “Successful”.  To be defined as such, one must have a string of successes, which also implies a sting of failures.Success is really the ability to get up after a failure and try again.Sponsored by the Caylor Group Wealth Management in Lynchburg VA.
