Suffering is (Not) Meaningless | Daniel 3:15-29

from Hope Downtown Minneapolis Sermons

Suffering can feel meaningless. To cope, we take our cues from culture or our own best thinking. We treat God as an accomplice, someone who is to act in accordance with our wishes for happiness. It is folly. Instead we need to trust God as God and the Cross, which shows how God can transform the worst suffering into the greatest salvation. Reflection:  Do you ever wonder if God is going to “get it right”? Do you believe in God that one day everything that is sad will come untrue?
