A mother crosses every barrier to fall at Jesus’ feet, believing that even a crumb of his power can rescue her helpless child. Right after Jesus dies the Bible says, “And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” It was not torn from the bottom-up, as though we could tear the veil open.
