Suicide affirming gender surgery

I’m glad I don’t live in the state of Washington. Insurance companies there are being forced to pay for gender-affirming care. And that means transgender healthy children. Insurance companies must offer full 12 month supply of crash sex hormone therapy for kids and adults, without any doctor oversight. Did you know the people who have had this gender affirming care have a suicide rate up to 15 times higher than normal? What kind of care is it that would cause kids to want to kill themselves afterwards?! And what kind of parents would allow this to happen?! We know that the human brain isn’t fully developed until age 25. So my suggestion is, nobody gets gender-affirming care until they’re after age 25.
