Summer Wedding Guest Experience 101
from When In White Hosted by When In White
Your guests are about to show up in 90-degree heat wearing cocktail attire — and how you handle that is going to make or break the energy of your entire day. (Yes, really. Hot, dehydrated guests = flat photos and an empty dance floor.) In this episode, we're breaking down exactly how to keep your people comfortable, hydrated, and actually having fun at your summer wedding — from the moment they pull into the parking lot to the last late-night bite. We're covering: ✨ Welcome bag essentials (what guests actually use vs. what gets left in the hotel room) ✨ The water station hack every couple forgets — and why a single bar pour isn't enough ✨ Shade strategy, parasols, custom fans, and where to always seat your older guests ✨ Bug spray: the unsung hero of every outdoor ceremony ✨ How to word your invite so guests know to plan ahead for the heat ✨ AC vs. open-air receptions, dress code cues, and late-night snacks that actually land ✨ The ONE thing brides forget every single time (you'll want to write this down) Whether you're planning a backyard summer celebration or a full Tahoe weekend, this is your guest experience playbook. 🎧 Hit play, then send this episode to your maid of honor, your planner, and the bride friend who's getting married in July. Don't forget to follow When in White so you never miss an episode — and if you loved it, leave us a review! It helps other brides find us.
