Sunday Side Session: Season is over — now what?

The final Sunday Side Session of 2024 comes to a close with 1620 morning show host Matt McMaster joining and providing his thoughts on the game, the season and what’s ahead for Nebraska football.Things start on defense and the two discuss how things look for John Butler moving forward, the performances of some of the younger players in the Pinstripe Bowl and what concerns exist moving forward. Then the two dive deep into Nebraska’s offensive picture, each agrees there’s a lot to like with the pass catchers and Emmett Johnson has solidified himself, but there’s still some question about what the offensive line might look like and, of course, what kind of step forward Dylan Raiola makes.Finally the two finish up discussing or ranting about Nebraska’s special teams.
