Local man, Chris Duffy of Castlerea, County Roscommon, has recorded his version of the Berni Flint classic ‘I Don’t Want to Put a Hold on You’, with all proceeds from the sale of the CD going to fund the new Children’s Hospice, Sunflower House. The project, funded by the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, will provide essential care for children, with life-limiting illnesses and their families, across eight counties in the Midwest and Western regions. If you would like to help this worthy cause then please purchase a CD for €5 at Kearney’s or Tully’s pharmacies in Castlerea and/or participating Hospice shops across County Mayo and Roscommon.
