Supporting Black Moms beyond Black Maternal Health Week

from Conversations with Toi

What is the call to action for Black Maternal Health week? To save our black moms. All moms deserve to deliver safely, to be heard during postpartum care and more. Multiple factors contribute to these disparities, such as variation in quality healthcare, underlying chronic conditions, structural racism, and implicit bias................................We can do our part by believing and supporting black moms.
