Supreme Court case could change Mississippi absentee ballot deadlines

U.S. Supreme Court justices have at least two more days remaining in the term as they finalize 8 cases still outstanding, including one from Mississippi. They're expected to rule on a Mississippi law that allows mail-in ballots to be counted for up to five days after an election, as long as the ballots were postmarked on Election Day.
