Surprise victors in the Crowchild Classics, Cavs lock up third place with another draw vs Vancouver

This weekend marked the end of the regular season for seven Calgary based soccer teams.  All seven of these teams will be headed to the post season next weekend.Cavalry FC wound up their season on Saturday afternoon where they drew Vancouver FC yet again.  However the single point was enough to clinch third place.  They will play the winner of HFX vs York in a match at Spruce Meadows on Sunday.There were two editions of the Crowchild Classic this weekend.  The Cougars women and Dinos men emerged victorious.  We have some post game comments from both Tino Fusco and Diogo Raposo.  The SAIT Trojans also racked up some wins on their way to the ACAC playoffs.Subscribe to our Substack or follow us on Twitter/X or on Instagram or Bluesky.Our website is yycsoccer.com
