Humans are error-prone. Man is not perfect. Mistakes are unavoidable and inevitable. Mistakes however can be bridges to do better. Mistakes create new pathways within our brains when we imagine ways to avoid remaking the mistake or ways to mitigate the harm caused by such mistakes. Recovery is a process to make the next right decision. God showed his genius when he instituted in man a means to imagine how to avoid making the same mistakes again. God loves recovery when a man decides to change and correct his path. To move from darkness to light, to become spiritually compliant, brings joy to God. His fulfillment is the product of our successful recovery from the harm caused by our past bad mistakes complete with the institution of humble submission to the power that is greater than ourselves.
