Viņš arī tulkojis Svētā Franciska “Ziediņus”, kas nupat jaunā izdevumā nāca klajā izdevniecībā “Kala raksti”. Valdis Bisenieks tāpat kā Svētais Francisks bija patiesības meklētājs, katrs ir meklējis patiesību savā gadsimtā un savos apstākļos, bet Valda Bisenieka tulkotajiem “Ziediņiem” ir dots papildnosaukums – kāpēc Francisks.
