Syd Hoffman - All-Day Energy: 100 Ways to Boost Your Energy.

from The Boomer and The Babe Radio Network · host Deborah Louise Brown

Syd Hoffman is a talented serial entrepreneur having created and sold two very successful businesses: an elementary school and a fitness center. She launched her newest venture EatPlayHug.com to motivate real women over  40 to get healthy and stay healthy. This website posts three short videos each week based on her mom’s philosophy “eat well, play hard, and hug often.” Mondays: Sensible Eating. Wednesdays:  Sane Exercising. Fridays: Connecting with yourself and others. These videos are all free! How did it all begin? After searching for a strong  kindergarten program for her daughter without any luck, Syd, an experienced teacher of 16 years, decided to open her own school. The growth of her K - 8 school surpassed her wildest dreams. Twelve years later, she sent her daughter to college, sold her school, and “retired” before age 50. Syd took off to hike internationally, arriving home with a business idea she could not shake: a fitness center with classes for people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. EatPlayHug.com is a yummy blend of her first two adventures in the business world.
