電視台是藝人表演的舞台之一，但電視台為迎合中國市場，讓愛台藝人更缺乏表演機會，活不下去如何愛台灣? 過去國民黨專政，強迫台灣人說國語，造成語言上的階級。直到阿扁執政，推動母語文化，才慢慢讓母語發揚光大，但語言的階級還是十分的根深柢固，難以抹滅。台語歌記錄許多台灣人在戒嚴底下的生活，但為了避免被國民黨政府追殺，只能轉化成類似舞女、七逃人，反而被國民黨抹黑成粗俗。
