Hey, what's up guys? Today is day two of Unlocking Live, and I'm just walking in probably about 20 minutes ago, and it was a blast. Hey guys, if you're like me, you've always had a desire to do more. And deep inside, you've known there's a way and a possibility for you to achieve your dreams, the lifestyle and achieve the freedom you've always wanted, because we have what it takes to get things done and learn from others and get the mindset to achieve the dreams we've always wanted.
Welcome to SB Warriors. Hey, SB Warriors, Paul K here. So today's day two, and I talked about this, and we're just getting into some of the cooler in-depth conversations. And every kind of, every person that you're listening to has been an eye-opening experience, each in their own realm.
But I think what's happening more today for me has been not only the things I'm taking away from the speakers, but then the ability to talk to others who are at their different stages, and we're then helping people. So I'm gonna talk you through first some of the things I talk my takeaways from the different speakers. And so Russell first started off, he started talking about traffic. And I think one of the biggest kind of takeaway for traffic is getting the ability to have traffic you control.
And so for those business owners or entrepreneurs who are listening, like when we say traffic, we actually mean like driving people eyeballs to your websites, to your landing pages, to your offers. And he talked about like the way to control your traffic is two ways. Either you're gonna earn it, where you're doing actual, you're actually creating content, you're podcasting, you're creating videos, you are blogging, something like nature. Or the other way is to buy it, and you're doing it through another system where you don't have control that yet, until people start opting in and you build that list.
But he really talked about like being able to have that traffic source that you can control, and then you'll always have that list. And building that list, I was talking about this, that's the key fundamental. And then it wasn't anything like new from Russell, but the way he was talking about the traffic, it was kind of just like understanding that how important and valuable this list is. And one of the things that we have to do is to build that list, you know, like it's a must do, it's not like, oh, I think I should know it's a must do, and whatever way you're gonna do that, just continue to do it.
And then we had a great talk from Natasha Hazelet, Hazelet, sorry, and Chrissy Nickel. And it was kind of a cool conversation because they're teamed up and Natasha has the, something like the advertising side of Christy's business, who Chrissy does these fitness challenges. And so she started talking about the fitness challenge and Tasha's talking about how she became a client and how Natasha was getting ready to get out of the business and they end up working with each other. It was kind of a nice, it was a great story.
And then hearing Christy talk about what she went through and the struggle she had, and to she was so open about like the things that she had done as far as like her, her success before she started her funnels and then her failures after cheating that success. And basically she's kind of lain it out. Like, look, I was unsuccessful and successful and then unsuccessful. And it was kind of like this, her journey and just, you know, realizing that she shared things with her own limiting beliefs, her emotional baggage that we all have, like whatever it was, and how she was able to push through it.
And then talked about this challenge that gave her the way to reach out to like literally like hundreds of thousands of people. And she started building a tribe that she wasn't even maintaining. Like the people were doing these get involved in these fitness challenges. Her own group is called Code Red.
And so all these people are participating in this organization. And she started off with a $47 product. And then she goes to a 997 and then to a high ticket. And so I'm looking at this like this is amazing, 20, when a challenge that that has absolutely been a great success for her business.
Now, instead of you breaking down the rest of this because Dean Grisosi was there. And he was awesome. And he gave away one of his books. And he talked about his book story and clothes, but I'm not going to go into each so much details, but I'm going to tell you what happened after the venue.
So after the venue, they have two comic club award winners that are available. And they were, they were answering questions. And and it was kind of, it was a lot of people. It was a little loud.
And you're trying to like listen to what they're saying. And luckily, these speakers were, were standing up in chairs. They were, they were like, you could tell like they were yelling because they never microphone. But it was really cool.
And I'll post some of the stuff on the Facebook group and fan page of some of the conversations. And when you talk about your next millionaires, and a lot of times you kind of just like, you kind of make like, Oh, millionaires are these, like, impistory people and all these things that you may kind of like buy into whatever kind of outside sources telling you. And these people, they genuinely care about what they do and the people they serve. And we're all there.
And it's like this niche of community people, you could tell like it wasn't these people are making money. And they're doing successful businesses where a lot of times you feel like there's a chip on somebody's shoulders at edge. And none of that, like it was, it was like, we're all there for the same reason. And they were going, you know what?
I was there where you were at today. I was there where you were at four years ago. And let me pull up his name. So David Ashunah was, was by himself.
And there was like literally five people there. And I could tell he knew what he was talking about, but he didn't have the crowd because he maybe hasn't been so in some of the like one, one way challenges or stuff like that, where people didn't know him route right. But I was able just to walk up to him next to him. And I'm like, you know, apologetic, like, Hey, excuse me.
And he was so cool that he was answering all my questions. And I wasn't over in day with him, but he would answer my questions. You know, when I talked in the last podcast about like, Oh, feeling like I'm niche down, he's like, why? He's like, I'm not niching down.
And he's servicing a billion out funnels for clients. And he's doing very well with that. He's like, why do you feel like you have to do that? And I was like, well, I don't know.
I was like, that's what I was kind of getting feedback from others. And he's like, you don't have to limit yourself like that. So it was a little bit relief because I was like, you know, I don't know if I'm ready to do that. Now, if I'm selling a particular service and I have case studies for that field and I can advertise that and then I'm creating something just within that field, and that makes sense.
But to say, I can't do it for anybody else. Because I understand the principles of, Hey, you need to have like your product, you need to have your bookstore, you're offering you need to understand like what it is you're actually selling to the marketplace. And then how to sell that? If I understand those principles and I have it down, then it should be applicable to any business.
And I think that's a big thing that Russell's always getting across. And then I met in the actual airport, I met Jeff Brewer, who was talking as well. And he was being super passionate, then he was able to connect with him and even say, like, Hey, like, Hey, if you're doing another venue down the road, you know, let me know, I'll be willing to participate, help or whatever it is. I'm not at the level, they, you know, to actually be a speaker or anything like that.
But it's, you know, if I could help out and just kind of like start being a value some way, you know, it's like we're making connections with people who are doing the thing that most of us are trying to do, which is create a lifestyle that frees us from the corporate world or frees us from the job that we maybe we don't like. And everyone's different has a different scenario. And afterwards was to me where the magic happened for myself, because I'm hearing these people and I'm hearing what we're talking about in the conference, as far as teaching, taking people to the next level, these different strategies. And then afterwards, there's a group that would have been selling a service and their service is called gifted and lit.
And so their goal is to help kids learn math, art, science through a blend of hip hop and education. And I was completely amazed if this was the first funnel, they didn't understand a lot of the core concepts, core concepts, but they went through the one to one way challenge. And they were able to kind of get a sales page up, they started running ads. And amazingly, they were getting like a 43% off it.
I was like, Oh, wow, you guys got something going on. But they a lot of things they weren't sure of. And then I started talking to them, like, wait, let me understand what your business is. And then I started like listening to them and what they're trying to do.
And they're trying to help educate kids, especially those that would normally be listening to lyrics of something that wouldn't have any value, wouldn't improve anything part of their life other than maybe it's a story. And they're creating an alternative means to reach out to kids to help them become educated and more engaged in learning. And I literally got chills talking to them. Like, like this dream of theirs was completely amazing.
Like, I'm like, you guys know what you have, like you have a means to change the way kids learn, not only to where you're helping them, but you're you're turning them from things of a negative source, you're actually creating something that's fun for them. And they can learn things that they might normally be challenged in. And you're you're creating a new opportunity for people to engage in educational system. And I'm like, like, do you know how powerful this is?
And I think they knew it going into it. But because there's all the stuff you have to do, the, you know, getting advertised, getting your web pages up, getting your URL, all these things. And then sometimes you kind of forget. But I got to tell you, like, just talking to them, helping them see like this is this is viable.
Like you have even even people who are some have some celebrity status, we're reaching out to them. And I'm like, that's people you need to reach out to use the test people are saying them testimonials of their kids using their products and having a great time with it. I'm like, this is amazing. Like you guys are sitting on an absolute goal mine.
And you just need to tell people what your vision is for this product. And this comes down to the epiphany that you had when you started this. And it was really nice. And then to work with another marker came by and it was kind of going over some of the Facebook ads.
And it was just like this group, we started off with like the, like the five of us just talking. And then next thing you know, a couple people started listening and watching it was like more and more people. And it was like, nobody was negative. It wasn't competitive.
And it was just like, how can we help? And we're all tired. I got my bags, have bags. But we were like there and you could tell like there was a sense, there was like something in the air, even though there were people walking by, it's a little loud and noisy, you can tell that like we were there changing beliefs within themselves of like, you can do this.
And here's options of how to do this. But first, like, for me, it was like my biggest thing with them was like, like, you guys, you guys have to believe in your heart. Like, this is a service that is needed so bad within the community. And it is necessary not just appealing to one demographic, like this is universal for kids, because a lot of kids like music and kids like hip hop.
So it's like, you can potentially change the way kids learn and help them put themselves in a better situation, especially those that may not have the same opportunities where they start educating. And I'm I literally love this concept. And I was like, wow, my kids could do something like this. And it like I almost I could tell we're gonna get teary at one point.
So my hats off to a meeting the team of gifted and lit. I wish them the most success, turn them on to some YouTube ads, and what they can do how they can target particular videos and people what they're listening to. And hopefully, they will they will see and I believe that we got across like the value that they actually bring. And I think we can forget that sometimes like, like we are bringing value to the table and we're not selling.
We're indeed gross. So he said this, like, you're you're not selling somebody. If you believe in your product, like you believe you're offering the service, that it's okay to charge somebody for that. And it's if you don't offer your services, then people will miss out on the opportunity to learn what you have to offer.
And I think this is such a great example of this. And it's like, here's this opportunity for kids to put themselves in a better situation through like I'm looking at these these comic characters singing hip hop and education. Really an idea. And I really wish them the best.
And I feel honored to be able to participate in what I hope is the like the first step of their process that they you know, they start off with one final way challenge, not claiming to take them and build their funnel. But to be able to look at it and dissect it say, Hey, these are, this is good here. This is good here. And they're like, I don't know what to do here.
It's like, well, you're asking me, but I'm not your target. A Democrat. Well, I am, but because I have kids, but I'm like, you're, you need to ask your audience, ask them what they want. And it was like, we just had a few moments like, okay, and I think it reenergized their team to take them to the next level.
So really, really happy to participate. And we leave on this like kind of high note of adrenaline, because we've been way too out to me hours, but it was definitely worth it. And I'm a close it here. So I, you know, keep pushing and you know, network with people who can help you in your next phase, because ultimately, if you believe in what you're doing, reach out to others and you'd be surprised at people that will want to help you along the process.
