She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, pet caretaker, enneagram 2, INFJ, and a Scorpio. She is currently in private practice in Knoxville, Tennessee and working toward a Doctorate in Social Work. She is a cis, queer woman who is working really hard to hold open space for queer people in the Southeast to be themselves, take care of themselves, and tend to their mental health. She is a cancer survivor, an Ivy League educated and once poor kid from rural Appalachia, a good friend, sister, and partner, and a pretty kick-ass historian of 80s and 90s useless song lyrics.In today’s powerful episode, Christina and I discuss the importance of prioritizing your needs when you work in a helping profession.
