Tales Of An Ex-Feminist: Why I Walked Away

from The Alma Y Tierra Podcast · host Claudia Howick

Welcome, to Trust The Process. I'm your host, Claudia, and in today's (long-awaited) episode... We are going deep into the reasons for which I left the feminist ideology well & truly behind me. Piece By Piece: the bite-sized episode on deconditioning from feminist narrativse (mentioned in this episode). Just wanna offer a quick disclaimer that the mic is a little quiet in this episode, so apologies if you are having to manually control the volumes throughout the intro and outro on your listening device! And it goes without saying that these are MY personal opinions and MY individual reasoning for these things no longer being aligned. Timestamps: 07:40: Point One - Feminism Encourages Unethical Capitalism; 09:40: The ideals of feminism have become too conditional and exclusionary, despite their contrary claims. 13:50: Being disconnected from our menstrual cycle in favour of circadian cycles is something which encourages women to be more like men - operating against our hormones and natural rhythms so that we can earn MORE & work HARDER. All of this ultimately creates more physiological stress in women and the only category that benefits is profit-over-care corporations and the pharmaceutical industry. 18:22: Focusing on the wrong kind of “oppression”. 27:30: Point Two - WHY I don’t think that, as women, we should be encouraged to view ourselves as victims purely because of our sex and WHAT we could achieve if we stopped living by this. 30:00: Point Three - Virtue-Signalling Has Destroyed Its Morals. 34:40: Point Four - Feminism Has Become Counter-Nature; 35:11: “Choice” has turned into the demonisation of a woman’s uniquely powerful and inherently soft qualities. 36:47: Remembering the importance of polarity in order to THRIVE as a woman in a way that feminism simply does not allow and puts a stop to the “men versus women” mentality. 39:40: Point Five - How I Have Come To See That Men + Women Are Not Equal. 44:44: Final Point (Six) - Leaving Behind Feminism Leads Us To Return To Harmony; 45:55: The unlearning process is difficult to begin with, but reaps far more rewards as we step out of ideology and towards embracing our wholeness as we are.
