"Talking Trump: The American Emperor AfterShow!" Episode 101: We're Clearly In Sweeps! Part 1

We are CLEARLY in sweeps!  Part one of a two-part Aftershow round up!  When there is so much going on in a show that an assassination attempt on the main character becomes basically a C-story plotline by the end of an episode, you know producers and writers of the popular but FICTIONAL show "American Emperor" are pulling out all the stops. The Trump character stands on the precipice of victory, having dispatched of the Biden entity in their debate, when he dramatically survives (shoes recovered!) an attempt on his life. He cruises into a super weird Republican National Convention where he is relentlessly showered with praise.
