Elijah Sullivan was born in Lexington, Massachusetts. At the age of six, his parents moved him to the infamous "spiritual vortex" of Mount Shasta. He studied journalism before dropping out of college to pursue his lifelong passion for filmmaking. His day jobs have included stints at video stores, a movie theater, and running a public access television station.
