過去在七零年代之前，如果有人罹患了惡性骨腫瘤，通常經過治療，癒後的結果並不太好，而且截肢率幾乎高達百分之百。但隨著醫療科技的進步，加上一些專科醫師在這領域全心鑽研，使用新輔助性的治療和重建方式，讓這樣的疾病癒後效果大大提高，造福許多病患。本集節目用電話專訪到國內骨肉瘤研究的翹楚，臺北榮民總醫院骨科部骨骼肌肉腫瘤治療研究中心主任吳博貴醫學博士，他目前也是中華民國骨肉癌關懷協會理事長來為大家介紹「骨肉瘤」這個疾病，歡迎收聽。
