Today's guest, Tanya Gioia grew up as a typical American kid who had the needs met and most of the wants, but it came with the performance based love and self worth issue questions. This affected her romantic relationship choices and after a high powered degree and a divorce, she began to question what was amiss. She felt she had abandoned herself at some point in all the masks she had taken on to 'earn love', and really only began to address it when a therapist called her out and told her, she was the problem.
