Happy end of our Septemeber series! To wrap it up, our guest tonight is inspirational difference maker and educater: Macy Capen Gilson, our of DFW, Texas. Macy is a speech language pathologist, disability advocate and children’s author of: Kindness is Golden that sets a golden standard for disability awareness and inclusion. She, works with children with a multitude of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, speech and language disorders, hearing loss, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disorders. She has cultivated a passion for not only treating their impairments, but sharing their stories! Her goal is to continue spreading awareness and celebrating diversity through her words and her writing and she prays for continued progress in this ever so important field.  One love
