Our guest tonight is: inspiring Dr. Elham Rostami. Who is calling in from Sweden!    Dr. Rostami, is a consultant neurosurgeon and associate professor in neurosurgery. She completed her MD PhD at the Karolinska institute with the title “Traumatic brain injury in humans and animal models”. This in collaboration with NIH where she worked with professor Jordan Grafman on Vietnam veterans with head injury, studying the impact of genetic background on outcome following TBI. She then completed her neurosurgical training at Uppsala university hospital. She is currently consultant neurosurgeon and associate professor and holds the prestigious Wallenberg clinical fellow position. She is also Vice chair of European Association Of Neurosurgical Societies neurotrauma, and a board member of the: World Federation Neurosurgical Societies-neurotrauma focusing on making a difference with TBI's.
