#TBR282 - Brew61 Beer Tasting

This week on Tall Boy Radio, your favourite beer enthusiasts, Beans and Gaz, are joined by a true pioneer in the independent brewing scene: Tim Dunkley, the visionary founder of Brew61. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalised as Tim delves into the story behind his exceptional range of beers, including the intensely aromatic Hop On Hoppy IPA, the crisp and refreshing Golden Fleece Lager, and the delightfully cloudy Hazy Bale Ale. Tim takes us on an incredible journey, tracing his path from the initial spark of an idea to the establishment of Brew61, a brewery renowned for its commitment to quality and flavour. He’ll share the pivotal moments, the unexpected challenges, and the sheer dedication required to transform raw ingredients into liquid gold. But it's not just about the beer in the glass; Tim also opens up about the wider agricultural landscape, offering a unique perspective on the challenges facing farms today – a topic close to his heart as a brewer who relies on the finest produce. His passion for brewing is infectious, and you'll hear firsthand how this dedication drives Brew61's mission to craft truly memorable beers with accessible ABVs. Whether you're a seasoned hop-head or just curious about the world of craft beer, this episode is packed with insights, anecdotes, and plenty of passion for the pint. Don't miss it! Tim was kind enough to send us 7 of his fabulous beers to try (we managed 5 in an hour!!) but don't think that just because the beers were free that we would not share what we thought. We were honest and we loved them. Buy Brew61's beers here Age Verification - Brew61Check Brew61 out on Instagram Brew61 (@brew_61) • Instagram photos and videostallboyradio.com
