Teach Us to Pray - Give Us Today Our Daily Bread

We work pretty hard not to be dependent on others. We like to think we can provide for ourselves. But the Bible speaks of the reality behind our presumption. Life and breath and everything else comes from the hand of God our Father. It is he who provides what we need, he who knows what we need long before we even ask, and he who knows our deepest needs, that only he can provide.
