Tears of Joy

from ConBERTAciones · host Berta P. Weyenberg

Tears of joy, in my opinion, are an act of worship. They are a way of celebrating, in faith, what we believe God is doing. Not every tear of joy comes after the miracle.Sometimes just thought of what you feel God is doing, or about to do, is enough to bring tears to your eyes.At times, those tears come together with a joyful sound, a spontaneous celebration rising from the soul. They are the response of a heart that already believes in miracles that are still on the horizon, not yet visible, not yet present in the natural realm, but already alive in faith.Perhaps you are believing for your family’s salvation.Praying for the breaking of the bondage of addiction, for liberation from strongholds, for healing, restoration, and freedom. You are believing for big things that only God can do.And just thinking about those promises can bring tears to your eyes, tears that carry both longing and faith. So today, if you are believing for a miracle,if you are asking God to intervene drastically in something you need,I encourage you to begin worshiping Him now.Let those tears of joy express the desire of your heartand the faith you are holding while you wait for the miracle.Because sometimes worship begins before the miracle arrives!BW
