Tense & Release

from Ride With Janice. · host Janice Dulak of Pilates For Dressage®

In this episode [pod-class], Janice explains how 'energy' can alter the results of things while riding. Working out how our muscles work, and how much tone/tension we need to have, whilst on the flip side, how much relaxation we need, is a big help to our horse.   Confused? That's normal!  Ride along with Janice and it will all make sense. Your horse may tell you some interesting things while you play with tightening your body and releasing it.   What is their reaction?  How does that alter the way you will ride in the future? *** We suggest having your horse warmed up and saddled as you hit play.  Many people enjoy using wireless headphones, but be sure to still have awareness of your surroundings.  Noise Cancelling mode isn't ideal.  You may also simply like to have your phone in SPEAKER mode as you ride and have your phone secured in a carrier or zip pocket. Be sure to FOLLOW this podcast to never miss an episode! ****  This is your FREE podcast for any equestrian wishing to be a considerate rider for their horse and have more memorable moments through their training sessions. Your 'in ear' coach is Master Pilates Instructor, Dressage Enthusiast/Rider, and Creator of 'Pilates for Dressage®' and the 'Ridermanship®' clinic in the cloud, Janice Dulak.
